Free Printable Activity Sheet: Scrabble Spell!
There are days when you tire of answering worksheets.
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate a beautifully designed worksheet. I like worksheets that inspires me to think, where I can answer them with markers or crayons. I’ll admit though that there are days when I tire of them too.
But maybe not this one. We've hand-drawn and tested this activity sheet on several of our students. We’ve used this for vocabulary practice on a certain topic. It’s also a good tool to use when ending a lesson and you want students to remember key words and concepts. We’ve also used this for games like "Scattergories” and compare scores based on our answers. (Note: Adults can compete too!)
Inspired by several Scrabble spelling worksheets found on the web, we tweaked it just a bit. We drew it by hand, and added a “topic” box on top to limit the words that can be used in the activity.
